Paper Plane House
Our little clients who’s imagination and creativity have sparked our design process of this quirky house. The house has got a variety of structurally challenging and spatially intriguing aspects. The paper plane house takes into account the client’s kids’ fascination for paper planes and aviation.
The new family house will accommodate spaces to house 6 people. The 2 floor dwelling is split across at key locations to not only provide double height living spaces but also to create a sense of connection within the family even when they are located in different floors. An existing neem tree becomes the focus
of attraction in the garden area, and is framed by the staircase structure creating unique vantage points from the inside of the house. The site has roads on 3 of its sides making for as many vantage points to view and to enjoy the house from the outside.
